Lyman Louis Lemnitzer (August 29, 1899 – November 12, 1988) was born in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. James Elbert Briggs (1906-1979) was born in Rochester, New York, the son of Bendsmin Robert and Marion Cypert Briggs.
